Do You Remember Your First
At this stage in my wine career, I look forward to many firsts. I happened to be at the right place at… when the Gen del Alma, Jijiji from the Tunuyan appellation of Mendoza, Argentina 🇦🇷was being poured. My first experience with a Chenin Blanc from Argentina. Winemakers Andrea Mufatto and her husband Gerardo Michelini started producing this unfined, unfiltered, organic wine in 2012. Fermented in concrete eggs with minimal intervention, this Chenin Blanc is exciting with showy fruit and fresh herbs on the palate: apple 🍏apricot🍊lemon🍋thyme and mint🌱They say you’ll never forget your first. I can confirm that this first taste of Gen del Alma, Jijiji has been unforgettable. If you try this wine post a pick on IG with this hashtag #shallwewineputmeon
