Where is it made? Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County
What are the grapes? Syrah
What should I know about this wine? The Dry creek Valley is in northern Sonoma County, California. The area is well known for Zinfandels however other varieties like sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and other reds do well in the area.
Why should I drink the 2016 Twenty Ten Wines Syrah? It’s delicious! The wine is interesting. It tastes like a red and black licorice braided with a 90% dark chocolate stick. It is full bodied with tingling peppery notes.
What should I serve it with? I am all about full bodied wines this month. This would be yummy with a hearty chili, prime ribs, or lamb.
