FYI: Dry Creek is an American Viticultural Area
(AVA) located in Sonoma County , California. This area is northwest of Healdsburg
and includes 9,000 vineyards and 70 wineries. Dry Creek boarders Russian River
Valley AVA to its south and intersects with Rockpile AVA to its north. Best
known for producing zinfandels, the area also produces excellent, chenin blanc,
sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, merlot and cabernet.
